Susan has so far lived in seven counties across the South of England.  Now settled in East Kent, she has been instrumental in developing art in the area through her work with Tamboo Bamboo Arts Co-operative and the Locus Arts group, working with young people and encouraging new artists.  She holds a teaching qualification, and is a member of The Crafts Council.

The global need for recycling has always been a concern to Sue, and it is this which has led to her interest in paper as a medium. Her skills in paper-making have arisen from explorations into the development and use of paper across cultures.

Susan has recently rediscovered  a love of painting, and now practises in both acrylic and oils.
